AIEEE 2007 Cutoff
Have a look at the actual ranks obtained based on marks for AIEEE 2007 :
And yes coming to institute wise cutoffs..Here they are:NITs : 8,000(First Counseling) to 12,000 (Second Counseling)
DA-IICT(Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Commutation) : 8,000
Jaypee institute, Noida : 23,000(Last year,will be higher this year)
Thapar Institute, Patiala : 20,000(Punjab Quota) 13,000(Outside Punjab)
I really cannot say about the cutoffs of IIITs and Delhi College of Engineering.

My ward has secured 151 in CUSAT CAT 07 and got a rank 15524. Is it possible to get a seat in Cochin University of Science and Technology. Tell me more above this University : How many colleges? Number of Seats in each College? Which college is better? etc.

Ankur , i got a maharashtra state rank of 334 and air 5825 wht can i expect with this rank from the following colleges
1) pec – whether cse or it possible??
2) iiit – A , IIT – H – wht branches can i expect???
3) daiict
4) any chances abt dce!!
and lastly among all these and nit’s which will be better in terms of cse or it and which i can hope to join ???
culd u also tell me where is the state rank used…i mean during counselling does it represent something???

my aieee rank is 23000 and state rank is 3171, so could u please tell me what best option could i get.Can i get PEC or Thapar (any branch)?i am from rajasthan.i have got CS in VIT, will it be a better option than jaypee or manipal or M.Sc. in BITS if i get them?

Hello Ankur,
In IIT JEE I’ve qualified in Extended List for IIST & IISER (Indian Instite of Space & Tech. & Indian Institute for Science Education & Research) ,in AIEEE my AIR is 14540 (U.P. SR:2256 ).
I came to know that the institutes IIST at Trivandrum & IISER at Pune ,Kolkata & Mohali are new institues established in 2006. Morever IISER doesn’t offer any B.Tech. course only 5 yrs integrated M.S. course & IIST offers B.Tech. course but only in ‘Avionics’ & ‘Aerospace Engg’. & some Masters & Specialization Programme.
Are these intitues better and have bright futures ? Is M.S. course can provide a me good job after completetion of Course ? Is ‘ISRO’ is the only oraganisation in India from where I can get a job after B.Tech from IIST ?
Should I join these institutes or can I get a nice branch in any NIT or Thapar or in any better colleges ?
I & my parents are very much tensionised. Please reply ,your response is very much important to us.
