So, according to you, which were the toughest papers of AIEEE 2009? (Multiple choices allowed) Preferably choose at most two of the options.

Sorry for the late reply, was busy the whole day. Here are the replies to a few selected queries.
@Abhishek(306)
The institute is newly established and not much information about cutoff is available, still will try to dig for the information.
@tushar(308)
Institutes have messed it up this time around, Narayana/Brilliant-Tutorials seem to be close to perfect.
@paresh(311)
Solutions to B.Arch paper are not released by institutes, would be next to impossible to find them.
@Unmesh(312)
I am still compiling the information for DCE/NSIT, should be consolidated into a post over the weekend.
@nikhil(316)
I would certainly go with the better NITs down south due to their excellent reputation.
@Harpreet(320)
The effect of OBC non-creamy layer can not be said, only time will tell. Every college/institution has a different policy regarding the reservation, better to check out for a specific institute.
@manish(324)
Check out the About Me page for more information regarding me!
Just wait for the results dude, how can I tell which one is more likely?
@divyaj(325)
Just pray to God it gets evaluated, atleast the roll no. is in place!
@madhumita(326)
Yes, that is a high possibility due to increase in number of seats in IITs and other colleges due to reservation and in general.
@Aditya(332)
As far as I know, the question is canceled and no mark is awarded, but I am unsure about it.
@sabari(334)/sabari(344)/ramakrishan(465)
Yes, the NITs will have 50% state quota just like 2007.
@Chirag(324)
Branch doesn’t matter as long as you are from a good college and have scored a great rank in CAT!
@unknown(348)
Most probably, yes.
@Koushik(349)
No need to guess, just check and site and search for least preferred branch like Chemical engg. etc in one of the last NITs to get the last rank admitted into NITs last year.
@Ashish(360)
Your expected rank is between 50k to 100k, now how can I suggest you something?! You surely can’t expect biggies like NIT/IIIT with such a rank, can you??
@Akash(364)
Negative marking has gone down from 33% to 25% per question. Also look at this way, it one gets a 8 mark question right, he gets twice the marks as compared to other questions and the 8 mark question were not much tougher than the 4 mark ones.
@chandan(366)/anand(447)
NO NO NO!
@Rahul(369)
Lasy year, upto 47k rank were called for central counseling. This year, that number should be around 55-60k.
@gautam(380)
Wait for the counselings, hope that you get through one of the top 10 NITs.Tough to say at this stage with state quota again coming into picture.
@ashok(382)
You should get something decent through your AIEEE rank, well worth leaving if the college you are currently in isn’t good.
@jj(390)
Check out last year poll too. The top and bottom options are chosen rather often by students!
The polls are always rigged
@ali(394)
Sorry, no chance with those low marks. Buckle up and start working hard for the remaining exams. Best of Luck.
@bharat(400)
Based on various parameters, some of which you have already mentioned.
@vivek(404)
You need to fill the form to be eligible for counseling in these institutes.
@Shiv(407)
Unfortunately there ain’t many top colleges in northern India that take admission through AIEEE rank apart from a couple of NITs and DCE/NSIT.
@UG(415)
No idea about architecture and please do give all the exams that you have filled the forms for. Atleast you will not regret later.
@shubhi(420)
Even the FIITJEE ones are crap this time round.
@himanshu(425)
The closing rank for computer science branch tells the reputation of the NIT
@Dip(434)
Should be around 70-75, very difficult to predict though.
@Praveen(445)
You won’t be eligible for central counseling, so your best bet is private colleges in your state.
@Delta Wing(458)
Nicely compiled question there. I will be making a post regarding this pretty soon.
@Anindyo(460)
Around 40k, maybe even more than that this time around.
@just-some-kid(467)
Will be done in a couple of days! Some of them are in the replies though.
