AIEEE 2009 Cutoff
The AIEEE 2009 paper was held all across the country on 26th April 2009. All the details regarding the paper along with the expected AIEEE 2009 cutoff will be posted right here after the exam. If you want to go through previous year opening and closing ranks for AIEEE, visit the official site here.
Initial reactions from students indicate that there was a major change in the pattern of the paper taking them by surprise. Also Maths was the toughest according to many. Check out the comments!
The total marks of the AIEEE 2009 paper were 432. Each section had 30 questions with 90 in total. There were 6 questions of 8 marks each and 24 questions of 4 marks each. The 4 mark questions had -1 mark for incorrect answer while the 8 mark questions had -2 marks for incorrect answer.

The final cutoff has been uploaded after some major changes, the first one was too liberal as I soon figured out after posting it. This should be closer to the actual ranks one can expect in AIEEE 2009.

i have got 185 in AIEEE and have got 172 in IITJEE..iam currently pursuing ECE BE degree in a local college..is it possible to get jee or nit?and is it worth to leave my course?

there are a lot of variations in the solutions of CP, Narayana and FIIT JEE…
speacially in the following questions(of set A)
Physics 5, 11, 29.
Maths 73, 86, 90.

Assertion -Reasoning question on matrices seems to have 2 answers . Some sites have published 2 answers of it. i think st. 2 is correct explanation of 1. Please tell the correct answer.

I think the cut off marks will be not as predicted because the aieee 2009 paper was based on a new pattern(having 4 mks. & 8 mks. qs.) and the paper seemed to be marginally diffcult (90 qs. instead of 105 qs last year).The no. of students has also increased dastically to almost 10,00,000 students which for sure will lower the heat of cut off marks.I Hope to see cut off results not on merer predictions but based on the student’s views regarding the paper.

just a question .. how is the analysis made? is it based on past year papers, consulting best student from the top coaching institues.. and making a somewhat wild prediction ? i would really like to know how it is brought about ??
