Thank you all for your views regarding the paper.
There is always mismatch between the answer keys of different institutes and is tough to say which one is close to perfect. FIITJEE has known to be the most reliable for the years, wait for their solutions to come out and re-calculate your marks to get a rough approximate.

Yes, there is 50% state quota in NITs, refer the brochure.
@Akshay(94)
NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal and MNIT Allahabad are the top NITs closely followed by MNIT Jaipur and others. You can check out the opening and closing ranks for these institutes from official AIEEE site and know the marks required from the cutoff table.
You wasted precious time in erasing. In a competitive exam where 10 lakh odd students appear, every millisecond counts!
@Vignesh(102)/Kunal(119)
Sorry, nothing can be done over it. Such unfortunate incidents happen every year that affect handful of students.
@surya(104)
Pattern change is a part and parcel of competitive exam. One has to cope with it to excel in these exams.
@AP Sharma(117)
You can check out PEC 2008 cutoffs here
@Aakash Mukherjee(163)
Please DO NOT use caps while commenting, doesn’t appear good. Well sometimes the paper is tougher, sometimes easier, a person well prepared for the exam will score almost same rank in both cases as its all relative.
@anubhav(177)
Last year cutoffs for these institutes would be uploaded on the site in a day or two.
@Akshay(213)
Well there are always mischievous souls who tick the top most or bottom most option. Apart from that, I think it should give a fairly good idea about the marks distribution. Atleast last year’s poll did!
@sindhu(224)
There isn’t any ‘minimum’ score, check out the opening and closing ranks for various NITs to know what you can get from the expected rank.
@Arpan(228)
I wish, it was just as easy, but sadly it isn’t.
@sid(232)
Check out the full solutions and evaluate accordingly.
@ayush(248)/p.ram(253)
Sorry no idea about OBC cutoffs and neither about SC/ST ones.
@anirudh(259)
You have the expected rank and the last year cutoffs for all institutes that participated in central counseling, shouldn’t be tough to find out what you can get.
