CEE 2007
Its been quite a while since the CEE 2007 got over and a number of results have also poured in deciding the fate of lakhs of students..
But there is still some hope left with CEE 2007 results yet to be declared. The wait might be killing but as the famous saying goes “Patience is a bitter plant but it has sweet fruits”.
The CEE 2007 paper was held on 27th May 2007 across the city.The paper this time was at par with last year except maths which was a bit tougher..
The cutoff for CEE 2007 is expected to about 10 marks lower due to two reasons, out of which one I have already mentioned and the other being the increase in IIT seats this time around which will have a direct impact on CEE cutoff this time…
The CEE 2007 results are expected to be declared by 11th of June..

shantanu,if this is your first attempt,then most probably you are a good student.No need to join dce with this crab rank.Drop a year,work hard and go for iit jee.

A) At 364 rank COE is almost gone, ECE, IT, etc are still on.
B) At 488, COE and ECE are quite surely all finished.
C) PLEASE DO NOT think about dropping a year, take admission into what ever you get, and then you can think about preparing once you are into the college. You might be a good student and hopefully can get a good rank next year, but you have to understand, this is going to be a very big risk because you dont know next year maybe there are far more smarter people than you!

mr DCE PASSOUT,please refer to last year cut offs,and only then comment. TUKKE maarne ki koi zarurat nahi hai.BY THE WAY I,VE GOT 402 RANK IN IIT JEE(2 attempt).You must be pleased to know that last year i was not able to clear even aieee.But because of a similar advice,as i’ve given to shantanu,i am in this position.i have got 488 rank in cee only because i’ve missed 10-12 questions in maths portion(my mistake).So mr DCE PASSOUT ,do hell with your 4 year experience.

What is diff. in CE & IT
shuld Msc TECH - Info sys. be preferred over Msc Hons.

You will get ICE/IT in NSIT and maybe COE in DCE…

No you will not get COE/ECE with that rank but branches lower than them…

Yeah you can get COE in DCE but I would suggest you take a lower branch in NSIT…
If you are getting one of the top 3 branches in BITS Pilani then leave NSIT else that is your best option….

Can I get IT at NSIT with 581 rank. I have heard that COE ECE & IT at DCE are really bad faculty wise, Shuld I prefer Inst. & Cont. at NSIT over DCE IT

Choose IT stream if u do not get COE & ECE. NSIT or DCE is immetrial….. I&C NSIT before IT DCE is stupidity… Even Electrical at DCE is better than I&C.

good question…see environmental engineering doesnt have much scope in India as of now but that will change in the coming years…It has a lot of scope abroad…
But then all the students from this stream are also picked up by the IT companies…
And if you plan do to do PG after that then your stream will not matter much…
But if you are really interested in CS or ECE then donot take it up…

See they are not bad faculty wise but they do have a shortage of faculty…
I would say chose a lower branch at NSIT if you are getting it…

ICE is a relatively a new branch so not many prefer it but it is a great branch as it is a good combination of CS and ECE…

see the seats are not increasing in the top most branches..they are increasing in branches like IT,Biotech etc so it will affect those branhes cutoffs and the branches that follow it…
The cutoff for COE and ECE will depend on how many have taken admission in IITs etc..

I’m a student of class XIIth and appearing in CBSE board exams (AISSCE-08) from a school in RAJASTHAN.
Am I eligible to get admission in Delhi College of Engineering? Kindly explain the procedure. Do I need to fill the form for Common Entrance Exam (CEE-08) too if I’m admitted through Aieee rank?
