Zen Estilo Mileage
Its been over 3 months now since I purchased Zen Estilo.I have managed to drive it around for over 2500Kms now and after its first servicing which was about a couple of months back the car is giving an average/mileage of around 18kmpl with normal unleaded fuel.With petrols of higher octane number like Xtra Premium etc. I have managed to extract a mileage of 20kmpl..
These numbers clealy signify that Zen Estilo beats its competitors ie. mainly Santro Xing and Wagon R which have a mileage of around 15.5kmpl and 16kmpl respectively.The tweaking that the Maruti engineers have done with the engine has certainly helped along with improved aerodynamics.
IÂ also managed to experience the A/C of the car as it continues to become sultry hot here in Delhi while I write this down 
.The A/C works like a charm and cools the car in a matter of about 4-5 mins. The average with air conditioning on is about 17kmpl with Xtra Premium on the city roads.On highways I am pretty sure that it can go upto 18.5kmpl.
So Zen Estilo has clearly emerged the winner in both performance and economy segments in the small car or the budget car category.With Chevrolet Spark coming up and the proposed 1-Lac car by the Tatas, it remains to be seen for how long can it maintain that tag.

I purchased Zen Estilo LX a year back and used it under city conditions only, to total of 5000 kms. In city with continuous AC I get an average of 12km/l and without AC its 15 to 16km/l. Now I have to check it on highway. I believe that traffic conditions and the way u drive matters a lot. Like switch off the engine if waiting at crossings or road signals. Maintain a speed of 45-50km/hr in fifth gear if road is empty. Check for correct tyre pressure and correct gear at various speeds like 20-30km/hr in 3rd, 30-40km/hr in fourth and above 40km/hr fifth gear. Rest everything is not absolutely perfect some compromise is always there.

Going to be one yr I bought Estillo. Clocked nearly 28000 kms…..Running like a dream…..Amazing Vehicle…..Gr8 Average………..:-)

Bought Estilo in Feb 2009. Clocked 17000 kms till date. It is giving 14 – 15 kmpl with AC in Delhi City driving and 17 – 18 kmpl on highways. This car has turned out to be more than value for money. Nice car…!!!

I had purchased Estilo in March 2010 from sai service vasai i got an average of 20 to 21 kmpl with AC
