BITSAT 2008 registrations are now open and you can apply online or through BITSAT form which can be obtained from post.You can apply online for BITSAT through the official BITS admission site.The last date to apply online is 31st January 2008 5.00 PM and the last date for form request through post is 21st January 2008.
BITSAT 2008 will be a three hour duration paper which will be held at BITSAT centers which spread all across India.The scheduled dates for tests are 9th May 2008 to 12th June 2008 which means you can select any of the date in between those for giving your paper.
The test consists of four parts:
Part I : Physics (40 Questions)
Part II : Chemistry (40 Questions)
Part III : (a) English Proficiency(15 Questions) and (b) Logical Reasoning (10 Questions)
Part IV : Mathematics OR Biology (45 Questions)
Thus there will be 150 questions in total and each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 1 mark. No marks are awarded for not attempted questions.

Only students who are giving their 10+2 examinations in 2008 and who have given their 10+2 examination in 2007 are eligible for BITSAT 2008.
The fees for applying online is Rs. 800 for male candidates and Rs. 400 for female candidates.
The fees for applying through post is Rs. 900 for male candidates and Rs. 500 for female candidates.
BITS Pilani,Hyderabad Campus will also start its admissions this year.

Candidates to reserve Test dates : 18th Feb. – 10th March 2008
Candidates to download the Hall tickets with instructions : 20th March – 31st March 2008
BITSAT Online tests : 9th May – 12th June 2008
Candidates to apply for admission with 12th marks and preferences to Degree programmes : 20th May – 30th June 2008
Admit List and Wait List announcement : 1st July 2008

sir i passed 12th in 2008…i fell short of 80% by 10 marks…….i am a dropout and am preparin for all da competetive exams fr the yr 2009…i am also appearing in cbse improvement exam in physics in the year 2009 to achieve 80%…cbse result will be out around last week of may…if i achieve 80% and crack bitsat with a gud score…will i be elligble for admission at bits pilani??????URGENT REPLY

I failed to achieve 80% marks in pcm in 2009. how can i appear for bitsat 2010?
Do i have to appear for all the improvement exams rather than only pcm.

I would like to know for a score of 238 in Bitsat 2009, will I get a seat in any of the Bits for Engineering course if vacant seats are there in second semester?
