As the BITSAT 2008 exams have just begun , it will take me some time to gather data to comment on the expected cut-off scores for BITSAT 2008, but as BITS Hyderabad is starting this year, the overall cutoff for BITSAT 2008 will definitely fall.

As you can see from various comments the level of difficulty this year has been a bit on the higher side but as seats are increasing in quite a lot of institutions the cutoffs are likely to remain same or drop down depending on seat increase.
So to know what you can get just look at the previous year cutoffs posted here and get an idea on what you can expect. I expect the branch cutoffs to go down by about 5 marks than those mentioned above.
Also about the Hyderabad Campus, its cutoffs will of course be lower, individual branch cutoffs marks are hard to predict but I would say something around 255-260 should be the overall cutoff for the Hyderabad Campus.

sir…. its 30th may 2009 today ….i jus’ gave BITSAT…got a score of 244…..i know its pretty mediocre but yet i wanna be a lil +ve ,thinking i might get BITS HYDERABAD… plz…tell me if i can??
looking at last years score’s ,very stupidly, i wanna ask u if there’s ne bit a chance for me to get Bits-GOA…n’ also guide me to various branch choices i can give in my admission form ( i am interested in automobile n’ aeronautics as well)
not many p’ple take aeronautics-so is there ne hope of me getting it according to my score

sir,
i have aquired a score of 265 in bitsat-2009.
i want to know if i can get a dual degree course,in any of the bits pilani campuses,or any other course.
i am desperate to join any bits campus and work hard and get a good engineering with a dual degree..do u think it is advisable to take a dual degree course.
will those who have taken a course other than dual degree course have an extra edge..

Considering the marks and cut off marks what in your opinion should be the best choice and preferences for campus and stream.
