The Joint Entrance Examination conducted by Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) is scheduled to be held on 13th April 2008.
The JEE is the entrance examination to the IITs which are premier institutes for engineering in India and are rated among top colleges in the world. IITs last year changed the pattern of the paper completely. So it is very important to follow the new pattern and study accordingly. Take a look at IIT-JEE 2007 pattern. The JEE 2008 pattern is also expected to be very similar to this and make sure you check out JEE 2007 solutions to get a feel of the new pattern.Also you can check out 10 Golden tips to crack engineering entrance examinations.
The notification for availability of forms for JEE 2008 is already and they will go on sale from 23 November 2007 to 4 January 2008.The online applications can be submitted starting from 23 November 2007. The last date for receipt of completed forms is 4 January 2008.

09.00 –12.00 hrs Paper – 1
14.00 - 17.00 hrs Paper - 2

JEE 2008 post has been updated with details regarding which banks are selling JEE 2008 forms..
JEE 2008 forms costs Rs. 500 for female/SC/STs and Rs.1000 for all other candidates..

Two new institutes were added last year ie. IISR and IISER and those also take admission through the JEE.

Consult some of your friends who have already filled the form.
Without seeing the form and reading the brochure I cannot comment on what to do.I am sure details will be given in brochure.

CEE exam conducted by DCE/NSIT is held in end may,forms are generally released in january.About reference book you can get any book which has previous 10 years papers of CEE and also additional question,that will be very helpful.

We can get admission to DCE/NSIT through CEE if we are in Delhi. What if someone in not a Delhi resident but still wishes to enter DCE/NSIT. In such case is there some quota for Delhi residents as well in DCE/NSIT ???

For non-Delhi people DCE/NSIT take admission through AIEEE rank.And yes there is 85% reservation for Delhi people making it hard to outside Delhi people to get in.

I m sandesh salkade frm INDORE…….my younger brother studies in class 12th.He is giving JEE this year……..he had sent the form on 10th of DEC through SPEED POST…….he has completely checked the form….but when i saw the photocopy of the filled form…….he commited a small mistake in the column of choice of exam center……which was 210……..he forgot to darken the bubble corrsponding to 0(zero)………i am callig the IVRS numbrs provided by JEE,But no one is responding……..so wat I can do now???…….will they sent the form back to us for CORRECTION……..because jan 28 is the date before which ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS are sent…….or is there any other means through which i can contact them or get my application form so that it can be sent again with correction.Because so many days are gone and my brother feared that they may reject the form…….pls suggest me any means so that this mistake can be iradicated as early as possible.If the form is not completely filled,they send the form back to us for correction and till date there is no form recieved so pls inform mee earlier wat i can do now……..As possible you can reply me by sending an email…….hoping in anticipation…/…..

Yes you are elligible for CEE exam for entrance to DCE/NSIT.

Of course they will not send the form back.No They will not reject the form but I think they take the data filled in boxes if information in circles is incomplete.
You don’t have to take so much tension.They have an online site and a telephone number to check whether application has been accepted or not.Check using that.

i have filled jee form online in first week of dec and it has been recieved by jee office iit delhi, but till today i havn’t recieved the acknowledgement card or any thing else but my friends who have filled the form offline and that also too late than me had recieved their acknowledgemnt card. when i checked my application status on iit delhi’s website it shows that my form has been recieved by them……..plz tell me whether an online application will recieve any acknowledgement card……and i have celled on the ivrs and the chairman’s num of iit delhi several times but no one picks up the phone….the last date to recieve the achnowledgememt card is 28th jan…….plz help me out as doon as possible……..waiting for reply

We have send my IIT-JEE 2008 application form one month earlier
but I have not recieved the acknowledgement card till now

i wnt 2 knw dat when will b d forms of dce- cee will b released for 2008 examz. m i eligible 4 dce - cee ? if it has been released then what is the last date to submit the form and 4m where i could get the form? How much will it cost for a non delhi resident?
other than aieee , dce takes it exam separtely or not? and what is the syllabus 4 this exam, is it same as aieee or there is any difference?

I certainly can not do anything about it. Please contact IIT admission department in whatever way you can and I think they issue duplicate admit cards after a certain date if you visit them personally.

No I don’t think so because of the new rules you can attempt JEE only twice and the second attempt coming in the year suceeding the year you gave your 12th board in.And that criteria would not be fulfilled in your case.

The main campus of CUSAT is quite good but that is not the same case with its other sub-campuses. No harm in giving the paper. Anything special about 15th June other than this paper?

i am passing 12th in 2008 year, i have wrote my JEE 2008 1st time this year. i have no chances of clearing it. i want 2 give an another chance next year. can i join any other engg college(any branch which i got thr AIEEE BITSAT) SIMULTANEOUSLY PREPARE FOR JEE 2009. is it worth doing as i have strong determination. do rules permit 2 do so??? can i quit engg 1st year if i get selected in JEE 2009.
